Daventry Rural Police & Neighbourhood Watch (NHW)
There are a few things that burglars do not like, including:
Locks, Alarms, Dogs... and vigilant people.
Remember: IF IT IS A CRIME AT THE TIME DIAL 999 , if not DIAL 101 or report on-line.
Pitsford Neighbourhood Watch is affiliated to Northamptonshire Neighbourhood Watch Association.
There are 8 NHW Contacts within Pitsford who provide information from all parts of the parish.
It is really important that all residents report anything suspicious, however apparently minor, by telephoning 101 (non-emergency) as it may form part of a crime pattern and could help the Police to develop a picture and assist them to apprehend the culprits. Clearly, in the event of an emergency or a crime in progress, the number to dial is 999.
In particular, if you are bothered by doorstop sellers, or Nottingham Knockers coming to the door, ring the Police straight away on 101 or 999 if you are being harassed.
Also, if you hear motorcycles in the quarry, report it to 101. The Police have warned riders that if they are caught a second time following a warning their motorcycles will be confiscated. If it bothers you, call the police...
Stay vigilant!
